As young colt Kubinec was born at the Russian State Stud Tersk in Russia. Out of a charismatic mare Kosmetika (by Muscat) and with the genetic miracle, Balaton, as sire. Growing up in difficult circumstances Kubinec survived and became a strong personality.

Kubinec is sold as a 4-year old young stallion at the Tersk Holland Sale in 1991. At first eyed critically because of his unusual markings, he soon proved his quality and swept the board in Europe, winning the German Nationals, European- and World Championships. Wherever Kubinec was shown, he received standing ovations. In 1995 he was voted the “Arabian of the Year” by the readers of the Araber Journal (Europe). In 2002, he made an incredible comeback at the All Nations cup, where he again won the heart of all those present.

Since May 2004 a new owner take care for a next step in Kubinec's legendary life so far. The Kubination Partnership Holland bring him back to the grounds of The Kossack Stud, the same place where the success story began in 1991. Kubinec is from this moment also the Chief Sire of the Kubination Arabian Stud, owned by Kim Kuijf (The Netherlands).

By now, Kubinec has established himself as one of the leading sires in Europe. His get and grand-get have won countless champion titles, including the All Nations Cup, European and World Champion titles, and the coveted Scottsdale Grand Champion sash as well as US National Champions.
